After your Turbo Yeast wash fermentation your alcohol will contain a lot of yeast cells in suspension as well as a sediment. If you distill your wash as it is (even if you leave the sediment behind) your alcohol will contain a lot of off-flavours which even the best essences can have a problem to cover up.
