Need a Home Distillation Handbook?. We've got it!
Hambleton Bard is the leading producer of home alcohol distillation products, turbo yeast, essences, activated carbon and everything else you need for your spirit production.
We also produce wine making kits, beer kits and high alcohol products. We are not your usual middle of the road homebrew manufacturer - we are experts in extreme alcohol technology.
Alcotec 24 is probably the most extreme product you have ever seen. It will ferment 13% alcohol in a day. It is fairly tolerant to temperature. Use it when you are in a hurry. Notice that you typically get 1% or so less alcohol with Alcotec 24 compared to Alcotec 6 when using exactly the same amount of sugar and water. This is because of the large amount of yeast in the Alcotec 24 and the massive yeast growth in the startup phase which consumes some sugar "internally".
The high alcohol yield of this product makes it probably the most economical one to use. There are two snags though, you need to control temperature (ambient not over 24 C / 75 F) and you need to wait for 5 days. If you can handle this, the Alcotec 8 is probably your best choice.
This is definitely your best choice if you want to produce 14% alcohol in 2 days, especially if you have high summer temperatures. It will also double as a high alcohol Turbo if you use 8 kgs of sugar but you will then have to wait 10 days or so.
This is an economical alternative if you want a 3-day fermentation up to 14% alcohol and if your ambient temperature is a bit below high summer temperatures.
After the wash fermentation, then what? Read more here.
